Executives from Ericsson, Huawei Technologies USA, Sprint, T-Mobile US, U.S. Cellular to Focus on the Future of Spectrum for 5G Wireless
Washington, D.C., July, 27, 2016 – The FierceWireless Executive Breakfast will open CCA’s 2016 Annual Convention on Tuesday, September 20 from 8:00 – 9:30 am and will feature executives from Ericsson, Huawei Technologies, Sprint, T-Mobile US, and U.S. Cellular. The session, From 600MHz to Millimeter Wave: The Future of Spectrum for 5G Wireless, will examine network technologies, the techniques operators are deploying to set the foundation for 5G, and strategies for maximizing network resources. CCA’s Annual Convention takes place at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, September 20-22.
The panel, moderated by Monica Alleven, editor, FierceWirelessTech, will address increasing demand, network traffic and how wireless carriers are expanding their operations into a large and growing number of spectrum bands once considered unusable or off-limits. Panelists will discuss the impact for handset and network vendors and explore how carriers can maximize the benefits of new technologies to create reliable networks and set the foundation for 5G.
